Youth Ministry
At Domremy our students are encouraged to ‘encounter’ and open their hearts to the great adventure of the Gospel through a range of opportunities available in the areas of:
Prayer and worship
Morning Prayer is held in the Chapel once a fortnight, Termly Mass, Daily Prayer in Homeroom, Mass for Special Feast Days, Reconciliation.
Evangelisation
Year 9 Evangelisation Day, Year of Mercy Youth Forum, World Youth Day, Australian Catholic Youth Festival, Conference Opportunities, Retreats and Reflection Days.
Catechesis
Students are trained and volunteer as Catechist assistants in our local public primary schools, termly Youth Ministry Afternoons with local Schools, regional faith formation events, lenten Program.
Community life
Students are involved in local Parish Masses and volunteer at local Parishes (e.g. St Mark’s Fete), Year 11 Community Service Program.
Justice, Service and Advocacy
Nursing Home Visits, Archdiocesan Social Justice Day, Cardoner Project, Fiji Immersion.
Leadership development
NEAA Student Leadership Conference.
